Freddy vs Jason (A question I have also) *MAJOR SPOILERS*

I thought the movie was pretty good. I think I got my money's worth seeing it. There will be a few surprises here and there to the story, but thats the standard in any Freddy or Jason movie. But now I have a question or 2.

I already know Jason lives, but how does Freddy still live? At the end he did wink, obviously hinting at a sequel, but if Freddy is in the real world, he would die without his head, wouldn't he? Unless I'm missing something that I didn't catch either in past movies or the current one.

I thought it was too funny at the end when (after Jason was thrown back into the lake and presumed "dead") the girl threw the machete (spelling?) back into the lake. That was a dead giveaway that Jason would come back. Stupid bitch:p But I never expected Freddy to "come back". I figured since his head was hacked, it would be all over with. But nope, gotta end with those damn cliffhangers.

I may see it... is it worth it though? I'm thinking about waiting until it comes out on tape... plus I haven't seen the older movies featuring Freddy or Jason. The closest thing I have seen was a little Jason X

I wouldn't reccomend seeing any of the movies. Every single one past the first one BLOWS.

Funny story. My dad worked on Jason Takes Manhatten. So the guy playing Jason would get into full costume and stand behind the crew members and wait for them to turn around and then startle them.

Freddy vs. Jason looks better than the recent reiterations of the series.

Which movie is Jason's first? And which was Freddy's first? Also, are they acctually scary or just funny/interesting like most so-called scary movies?

Jason's first movie was Friday the 13th. It was a decent movie.

Freddy's first movie was Nightmare on Elm Street. The first time I watched it, it was pretty scary.

i dont know about freddy, but jason cant die, he's not ever supposed hes like the eternal plaque like they said at the beginning he was just sleeping from the last friday the 13th ever made? has anyone ever seen the new jason just recently made last year? where he is in the future? that is an odd add on, for it has nothing to do with this sequel, and i dont think freddy is supposed to die either, i guess as long as people still remember him.

I think because Jason still "remembers" Freddy, I guess Freddy can't die until Jason forgets him. But I don't think Jason is smart enough to forget.

Also, I'm trying to remember if they explained how Freddy got into Jason's dreams. Did Jason know who Freddy was before the movie? I know it was "Jason's mom" in his dream when it was actually just Freddy in disguise, but it still confuses me how Freddy got there in the first place.

TheGame, I would recommend seeing Freddy vs Jason in theatres, even if you haven't seen the old movies. Also, the old movies of Freddy at least would be scary if you were like 8 years old probably. Jason never seemed very scary to me back then though.

And Jonbo, I don't think they're hinting at a sequel, it's just that they can't have one of them blatantly win. I thought everyone knew that there was no way one of them would actually win, the Freddy creators and Robert Englund and the Jason creators wouldn't let their character lose to another character.

And the movie is about a child killer who got burned and then kills people in their dreams competing against a big dumb guy who never dies. Yet, Freddy being alive after his head got chopped off doesn't make sense? :Poke: There doesn't really have to be an explanation, Freddy's like magical and stuff.

Edit: Or maybe Jason went back into sleep mode or whatever after going back into the water for the last time, and Jason coming out of the water with Freddy's head is actually Jason's dream. And as we all know, Freddy owns dreamworld.

Jason was sleeping thats how freddy got there in the first place and of course they knew each other, that and jason was already on earth. thanks to the writers, both films combined were based in the same world, thats how freddy knew that jason only responds to his mother. so i guess freddy sent jason up to kill for him and so make him be remembered because when jason was killing they thought that it was freddy all over again, and as more people thought freddy did the killings he got stronger by the teenagers. Freddy tranquilizied jason so he could go into his dreams (because freddy was strong enough to and jason knew of him) and defeat him by drowning him

i saw that movie today but i had to work so i missed the last 15-30 min of it all because of the preveiws they took my time and i want it back so i can see the rest of the movie

Not entirely true.

Freddy took Jason into the dream world because he knew he had the advantage there, but he didn't know of Jason's fear of water until the fight. He just brought him into the dream world to attempt to kill him, but since he didn't fear him, it was hard.

I thought the movie was pretty sweet, even if it was more humor than horror. I especially like the part where the black girl was making fun of Freddy and Jason walked up behind her.

Aside from the naked chick at the beginning of the movie, that was probably the best part. I think EVERYONE wanted to see that Destiny's Child bitch get stomped by Jason or Freddy.

I don't like any of the freddy or jason movies. Nothing going for them. Not worth my money or support to see in the theatre.
