This one appears to be close. My vote goes to Knuckles.

I almost didn't vote for Knuckles for the facts that:

1) SA and SA2 treasure hunts were god-awful
2) KOS-MOS is really hot
and
3) SA and SA2 treasure hunts were god-awful

Suffice to say, Knuckles himself was really cool. Ten points! Orr.... one vote.

Maybe you weirdos should play other games. Xenosaga is amazing. But does anyone ever step outside of their world of Nintendo and Sonic games? NO!
