Are there any multiplayer RPG's on the psONE?

No. PSO was the first MMORPG, and it was for Dreamcast.

I don't mean online, do you know of any co-op or just multiplayer rpg's? I always thought it would be cool to take characters from a huge rpg game and battle them against each other or play co-op without having to go online.

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy is like an action RPG, and it's multiplayer. Thats all I know of.

I don't remember if it's Legend or Secret of Mana. But whichever one that was on the Playstation allowed you to take control of one of the monsters you raise in battle.

No, that's a hack and slash game.

Doesn't Final Fantasy IX have a 2 player mode? Or was I hallucinating when I read that..

It does. But it's only for battles, which would get boring very fast.

Still an RPG. If your classifying only turnbased RPG's as an RPG, than there isnt one that Ive heard of.

actually its not that bad....i played it with happydude in 2 pllayer, its fun in places where you get in one battle after another fairly quickly....and it kinda keeps both players in the game....


other than that and gauntlet legends, i don't know of any 2 player rpgs...cept for maybe star wars: jedi power battles...i think...if you wanna call that an rpg....more of a hack and slash adventure, but there are far to few non online multiplayer rpgs.
