hey guys, im really bored and was wondering if you can give me advise on some good games i could get...preferably RPGs, but would also like FPSs and racing and any other game that is good, just no sports...thx in advance.

[FPS]
dpends on if you want to play online...
-Unreal Tournament 2003
-BattleField 1942
-Half life 2 gets released in a couple month if you have the system for it. looks to be best FPS game for any platform

[RTS]
-WarCraft 3

RPG - Morrowind
-Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (although it hasn't come out yet)

The Sims Online (there's a $10 monthly fee however).

Warcraft III + Expansion
Starcraft + Brood War Expansion
Diablo II + Expansion
Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 + Expansion
Half Life
Counter Strike
Ragnarok (I don't recommend this one, but it's worth looking at).

All these games (except HL) are excellent online

Vietcong, albeit old, is still full of online goodness (It's a FPS).

Null: beat NWN, the game is quite complicated to play online if you ask me, i tried :unsure:

i completly forgot about UT 2003, i'll definetly be getting that...
BF 1942 i saw ppl playing it, doesnt look that good...but i'll see
HL 2 ill be getting 100% when it comes out
i have WC3, beat it single player...multiplayer is way to hard against comps, and way to boring against other players, just because you cant build a big army...

Yoda: i had morrowind for a while...that game is HUUUUUGE...too huge if you ask me...so thx, but no thx.

GM: not into any of those crappy sims games.

Bobcat: i have everything you mensioned except for ragnarok, i heard it blows, lol...but the only games i play online are SC and CS :p

PE: Vietcong is it? what is it, kinda like CS?

woudlnt matter either way cuz the game sucks.

was just pointing out the high population of cheaters in the game itself. :P

and whats the fun with playin with only people you know? what you want is to get the ppl you know all on your team and kill everyone else :p

not many hackers play anymore...i mean i've been playing for bout 3 years, and i've seen less then 10...so yeah...and version 1.6 is goin to be officially out soon, which somehow prevents hax or somthing, alot of ppl sais it doesn work in the beta version, so yeah...can't wait for that to come out...other then that its a very good game.

BTW, happydude666... hold out on getting Unreal Tournament 2003

Unreal Tournament 2004 comes out in November. it plays everything 2003 can. and can even join 2003 servers with ppl that only have 2003.
plus 2004 brings back the Assult mode and the Sniper rifle. and has the mode im wiating for Onslaught, wide scale outdoor combat with vehicles =)

and sorry but CS is hardly the best ever. there are many FPS better. single player wise. HL2 is going to be the best FPS ever. have to wait and see how its mutliplayer is.

Kinda, but better (in my opinion). However, since it's old and stuff, there are probably several way better first person shooters. *shrugs* I play it sometimes. Does the job.

i meant best MMOFPS (just made that abb. up:p)

and i have no doubt that HL2 will be the best single player fps when it comes out...along with CS: Condition Zero...:p
