GameTavern Character Battle
 

I have completed the bracket for our forum's very own character battle. it's pretty large with 128 characters in total. There will be two divisions: east and west. We'll go through the entire western division and get the western division champion before we start with the eastern. When we have both division champions we'll hold the finals. I'll get a bracket to show you the progress of the tournament but until then you'll just have to bear with me.

Will we actually have battles between characters or is the winner determined by vote?

This is a popularity contest. You vote for who you want to win.

I changed my mind. I'll have one western match and one eastern match each night.

How about you post all the round one contestants at once? I can see this taking 128 days to go through round one. Then... conveniently 64 days, then 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, and surprisingly a month for the last vote.

I'm doing one from each division every day. So i'm cutting off half the time it would take.

So it'll take 32 days then 16 then 8 then 4 then 2 then 1 for a grand total of 61 days! we'll be done by September.

Hmm, this sounds an awful lot like GameFAQS' tournement being held this summer....:D. I'll vote whenever I remember to.
