Rise of the Machines

Have you guys seen it? What do you think.... overall I was mildly dissappointed. I liked X2 and Reloaded way better...

I haven't seen it yet but I heard it was pretty good. Could you tell us what made it mildly disappointing for you?

i heard that it sucked compared to T2...and i heard the ending really sucked a$$...i dunno....im prolly goig to go see it just for the hell of it...

Ginkasa 07-07-2003 03:06 PM

I loved it. While it wasn't as good as T2, it didn't suck compared to it. And I liked the ending. It definetely leads in to T4.

The only thing I really found disappointing is the lack of real story or surprise until the ending. While there were a few things in the middle of the movie, most of it was just chase sequences and action, although that's not entirely bad.

I realy enjoyed and I anticipate T4.

If Arnold decides to run for Governor of California there will be no T4.

*hopes Arnold doesn't run*

*and yet, hopes he does run because having him for a governor might be cool*

You'd be guaranteed there would be no more killer robots in California

Well... Both the director and Arnold have expressed interest in doing T4 so...

And besides, judging from the ending of T3, T4 could be done without Arnold. It would just have to be really really good to still hold inerest without the Terminator.

Yeah, that movie was pretty good. It definitely set up for like 2-3 more movies.

Rndm_Perfection 07-07-2003 06:28 PM

I liked the movie more than X2, and more than the original Terminator even. However, T2 is too hard to beat.

*thinks* Loken was hot. There's no point avoiding it.

i just saw it yesterday, 2 thumbs up IMO

great action, amazing effects, and regardless of what anyone says, i thought the ending was spectacular and unexpected

Dragon-Fly 07-08-2003 10:11 AM

yap, i saw it too. i really liked it, but t2 had more suspence, more of a thriller.

I loved it but I went in with low expectations.

If Arnold isn't in T4 then I won't see it. His one-liners are the best.
