And I can tell you: IT IS FUN! :D
At least I knew what to do (unlike some stupid kids...:rolleyes: ) and before long I had people all around me watching the game!
In one store they had a UFO demo, where you had to keep the UFO spinning with your hand untill it reached the top of the screen. After that you had to attack a enemy UFO by waving :wave: it away or something... :p

In another store they had a demo where you got attacked by little men running from all directions towards you! That was fun.... and I looked funny! :rolleyes:

I don't know how long this Eye Toy will STAY fun, but it should be good for a very good multiplayer laugh and some exercise!!! :nod:

Yeah, I do too, but my computer is 100 mhz too slow. :(

The Eye Toy was a peripheral announced by Sony at E3. It is a digital camera that will be used by some games. I believe it is slated for a Fall 2003 release.

I had sort of an insider look at the Eye Toy for PS2...it will be shipped in the fall or winter of this year for US$40, and will come with about 8-10 mini games like Kung Fu (you fight off oncoming mini-ninjas with your arms, legs, head etc.) and this soccer game where you use your head to play 'keep it up'. There are also things like a speed window-washing competition. It'll also record video up to 1-2 minutes to be saved onto your memory card (or the HDD when it's released) and can take your picture for features like Tony Hawk Underground's 'put your face in the game', which will allow your create-a-skater to look exactly like you.

I think $40 is a very good price for the technology...Sony could experiment and do a lot of neat things with it. I think we'll see more use out of it for PS3 though...Actually, I think the PSP would work GREAT with it.

Say your girlfriend is leaving on a business trip and wants to take the PSP with her to watch movies or listen to music on the plane...you could record a video for her to watch after she leaves. There are tons of possibilities like that...
