Beer question
Ok just curious as to what just happened and i figure soemoen around here will probably be able to explain it
Ok.. first i put a warm beer in the freezer because well it was warm  then i forgot about it and came back a few hours later and put it in the fridge and it was still a liquid then when i took it out of the fridge about 20 minutes later as i was holding in my hand in my room it was slowly turning to slush/ice from top to bottom. Took about 30 seconds to do the whole thing.... Uhh.. its a light beer.. Corona  stupid light beer  Anyway.. uhh.. whats everyone around here fav type of beer? or alcoholic beverage? |
I....dunno, actually, I didn't think about it at all....
Beer.....ewww. Now, Wine, on the other hand. I prefer red wine and I like it dry. |
I don't drink alcohol. It's bad for me.
|
I like beer... taste good
I like Wine... taste good ... Smirnoff is one of my favorites |
I don't really like the taste of beer. Vodka is really good when you want to get wasted fast.:beerchug:
|
I drink red wine like everyday
Nobody knows what happened to it tho? |
i don't drink...much...martini is my fav i would say.
|
MGD, yummy. Not picky when it comes to beer, but I hate Coors Light.

This is what happened:
The contents were under pressure from the sealed can. The temperature of the beer was sufficient to freeze it, but the pressure inside the can was too much to allow the liquid to become a solid state. Once the can was opened and the pressure was released, the liquid as still below freezing and was now able to freeze. My guess is that is also wuld have bubbled up and overflowed as it slushified (if you didn't start drinking it immediately). Beer cans tend to be stronger than soda cans, and will not break when frozen, unlike soda cans. Soda's will burst in the freezer to allow the liquid to expand and freeze. Just call me Mr. Wizard. :D |
Eh...Ive only had like 3 or so kinds of alcohol...my fav out of them would have to be Captain Morgan, but im sure there is way better stuff out there.
|
I'm with Stoney C on this. Beer doesn't sound like a cup of tea. I'll just have to wait and see though.
*waits for stonecold to post on this topic* I'm sure he has something priceless to say on this. |
I don't drink, so I couldn't tell you which one is my favorite
|
My favorite beer is Yeungling, which is local brewery around The PA, NJ area, but they just opened a brewery in Florida.
Other than that I mainly drink Miller Lite when in clubs or just Vodka and Club. |
Good old Molson Canadian always does the trick. I also like Rickard's Red... Good stuff.
Basically, all alcohol rocks. |
I don't drink much, but I do enjoy a good glass of red/white/ice wine and my favourite beer is either 'Sol' (Mexican) or Sleeman's Dark. I prefer light beer, though, as a refreshment during hot summer days.
