The problem is you are hard pressed to see me online, only late saturday nights...(Late here out west)

Future games:
-EA Sports 2004 (Madden/Live/March Madness)
-FFXI
-GT4
-T.H.U.G.

these are the ones I'm planning to get, but who knows.

I will have:

I'd like to get GT4 online sometime. Maybe even FFXI if I hear a good review from DarkMaster.

By the way, about how much does the network adaptor go for these days?

Ah yes, excuse the resurrection of an old topic.

Perfect Stu 06-02-2003 09:21 PM

I think the NA is $40. Sony is going to start bundling the NA with the PS2 soon though...

Rndm_Perfection 06-02-2003 09:27 PM

Hmm, and I assume an internet service or phone line would also be necessary? I had a dreamcast with plans of going online (had a keyboard too), but never got around to it because PSO was dying anyway due to the GCN version.

Joeiss 06-02-2003 09:32 PM

I do not think there were any plans to make a GCN PSO when PSO was out on DC. :/

Rndm_Perfection 06-02-2003 09:45 PM

I bought my DC late (only cost $50).

One Winged Angel 06-02-2003 09:52 PM

Sorry for bringing this topic back from the dead... but, I finaly decided to buy a Network adapter.

Ok, so this is what I have planned. I won't be getting any game that charges monthly. Only free games.

So what I have in mind right now is NBA2K3.
Also, SOCOM costs $60. :( I really wanted SOCOM but it's too expensive... What do you guys reccomend. NBA2K3 is for certain, but I want something else. Not a sports game.

Perfect Stu 06-16-2003 10:44 AM

SOCOM should drop in price soon

Non-sports games? Only other non-sports games I've played online are Midnight Club 2 and Amplitude...and I really like them both. But they're not for everyone...I'd read up on them and rent them, if you're interested, before buying.

Crono 06-16-2003 02:59 PM

I will be getting the newtwork adapter soon. I don't have any online games yet, but I will be getting:
- Final Fantasy XI
- NHL 2004
- Resident Evil: Outbreak

Emiger 07-08-2003 04:06 PM

I don't have any online games as of now, well except Twisted Metal Black: Online (but that doesn't get played).

I will be buying Final Fantasy XI and Resident Evil: Outbreak though, hope to see some of you guys when those two games are released.
