A New PilotWings from the Makers of Rogue Squadron?
 

Well, rumors floating around the Net is that there is a new Pilotwings in the making from the developers of Rogue Squadron, Factor 5. Well, I don't know what to make of it, I mean Factor 5 can make games dealing with flight and whatnot, and ofcourse now how to make graphics looks nice.

I remember renting Pilot Wings 64... it was fun from what I remember... I'll be looking into this one for sure.

Oh, I dunno, I mean, Paradigm did such a good job on Pilotwings 64 that somehow it should really belong to them as a franchise for the GC. Sadly, I believe that Paradigm went bust recently, so I suppose Factor 5 are ideal replacements. In a utopia of course, Nintendo would buy out the shell of Paradigm and dedicate it to Pilotwings, but sadly it will not come to be.....

Come on, Nintendo! Buy Factor 5, pronto. Quick-like! :unsure:

I've just had a horrible thought: What if Pilotwings for the GC doesn't scale the soul-funk heights of it's predeccesor? I might never get over my grief if that occured.....

I thought factor 5 was a second party like Rare used to be? I always thought they could only make games on a Nintendo console...I guess I was wrong...

I love pilotwings , the 64 version was wicked, I cant wait for it to come out.

And pick up a bottle of SquareEnix while your at it.. and a loaf of Capcom... and a bag of Namco.. and a sixpack of Sega. Oh and don't forget to pick up Rare again. I think he's been over at little Billy's house too long! ;)

I didn't like Pilotwings 64. I though it was weird.

I might be one of the only people on these boards to own both PW and PW64 and I can say that if this game gets annouced at E3 I'm reserving it the next day. I cannot believe this news.
