RTX: Red Rock

I was looking through the latest EGM when I came upon this advertisment for a game. What I saw was a screen of a guy who looked very familiar. I continued on to find out this was a PS2 game that was coming out shortly. The screens indicate it looks to be a pretty crappy game. I have no idea though. I know nothing about it since it's for PS2. So I scanned the picture and here it is, does that stupid guy pictured remind you of any particular space ranger from any particular Walt Disney movie regarding toys? :D

Maybe it's just my imagination but I think this game has totally copied Buzz Lightyear's space suit design!

Can the PS2 people here tell me anything about this game? Is it crap like I'm guessing?

Anyway, I just though I'd point that out. :)

Pixar studios produced Toy Story...Disney funded it I think

Anyway, I know relatively nothing about this game...

the character in the game wears that attire only for a short time. if you want to know more about the game, go look on IGN PS2, I'm too lazy to find info. It's suppose to be some kind of action/adventure game, you are some robot guy who goes to mars to destroy aliens or something. I forget who makes it, I saw it on Electric Playground one day, looks pretty average, may be worth a rent.

meh...

Pixar Studio's equipment was used to make the movie. Pixar's animators used the equipment. Disney created the characters, storyline, casting for voices, etc. It was a joint project along with Toy Story 2, Bug's Life, Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo. But that last one hasn't been released yet.

I need to pick up Toy Story 2 on DVD...it's going back in the 'Disney vault' soon or something...

Anyway, I've liked all of the Disney-Pixar projects so far, (Bug's life was ok) so I hope the Finding Nemo one is good too...

Yeah, it looks good. I need to get Monster's Inc. and Bug's Life. I got the Toy Story 1 and 2 pack for a birthday a couple years ago.

If you haven't already seen the Finding Nemo trailer, you can view it here.

Pixar rocks... If you can, download "Tin Toy" or the "Lamp Featurete(sp?)"... Really good early stuff...
