Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising - June 23

The next instalment in the best handheld game series of all time.

I just put 30$ away.

I can't wait. AW1 was awesome, if they improve over the first one and add a bunch of new crap, I'll definitely be looking out for this one.

Ill admit, Advance Wars was a fun game...I'll have to watch for this also.

I never played the first one.... Sorry....

I will try and look into renting it, or testing out a ROM.

Yes I shall buy! Hmm...I wish there was more strategy games on GBA. *drools over portable Starcraft*

Yeah, the first one is great I think, I'm going to ask for it for my birthday because I actually never bought it, I just tried it out.

Imagine if they made an Advance (Cube?) Wars game for the GC... :eek:

Exactly what I'm hoping for Shadow. It would be great if they did a link up thing similar to what Zelda has. You can make your battle plans on the GBA, it could show how well/bad you're doing, and other things. And Miyamoto could show off networked 'Cubes with a game like that if they ever did make one for the 'Cube. Or even make it online.:D

Geez, Max really beefed up for number 2, Lol. I think I will definately buy this one. Loved the first one a lot. Anyone who hasn't played it should get the ROM or just go buy it now :-D.

The pics at IGN are kinda odd though...

The battle pic looks essentially the same as the first rendition of the game, and the picture showing the map is exactly (Or so damn close it's impossible to tell the difference) the same as one of the beginner maps in Advance Wars.

Maybe it's the exact same game with new box art.

Hopefully though, it will be even better than Advance Wars, and so I will be happy.

This war with Iraq reminded me of the game, and I've been playing it a lot lately. What a great, great game it is. Hopefully #2 will improve on the few things that could use improvment. I certainly look forward to it.
