Who would win in a fight Link or Chrono? Give your reasons why.

wit no magic allowed i figure link would win in jus a sword to sword battle... :unsure: maybe... only cause chrono dont have a shield.. but in any other fight chrono takes him to school :p

See, any fight between Link and a turn-based RPG characteris unfair because the RPG character (in this case Crono) has tons of different kinds of godly magic that could muilate hundreds with a single though. Link has a sword, a shield, and a few spells but only one damaging one (thinking OoT Link here). Link is far outmatched.

But if there was ever a fight between Link and Crono where they can only use items, I think Link would win.

there is no contest here. Crono wins easily. And its not fair to say that if you take away Crono's magic and skills and stuff and just gave him items then Link would beat him. Thats like saying if you took Godzilla and made him regular human size, and took away his powers and strengths, then a normal man could beat him. Crono has bad-ass power, he would kill Link 5 times before he hit the ground.

But if the topic was "who's the cooler character?" then things might get more interesting.

I was just saying if it was a fight between swords and ability and stuff, I think Link would probably win. Or at least do better than he normally would. Anyway, my actual point was that RPG characters have giant humongous godlike powers while Link has a sword and a shield.

Link. Why? Because Chrono is completley dependent on magic and spells. A true fighter's strongest weapon is their body.

chrono isnt dependent on magic and spells or at least my chrono isnt he doesnt need any help he can kill any thing with just his sword

Link...because Chrono has to wait for that little gray bar to get all the way to the right before he can even attack. Thats not a problem for link, now is it?:cool:

You know what Darkmaster is right now I want to know who you think is the cooler character Link or Chrono? Oh yeah I think Chrono is way cooler then Link.

Crono would obviously win. Rainbow sword gives him a high chance of a critical hit, and with his spells like Luminaire, Link is toast. :p

The thing is... link beats many foes with magical powers with just a sword a shield and a few items.. he is a master swordsman... link... has one move wit his sword... dash in and slice :p.. link would obliterate him if chrono ever tried anything wit his sword... but when it comes to magic link is at a huge disadvantage... but like i said.. hes defeated many foes with magical powers :p

Heh, I dont think its fair when you people say "well if you take away all Crono's powers..." and such, because... Crono is Crono. Link is Link. Take both characters abilties into consideration. Crono wins easily.
