DarkMaster 02-24-2003 04:32 PM

ha, just like when i made a jetback out of pictures of a belt, pipe, and trash can. That kid sure is smart, why didnt I think of it!?!?

LOL... I haven't played the game but sounds pretty screwed up.

Crono 02-24-2003 05:33 PM

... how does Dark Cloud 2 sound "screwed up"? Just wondering.

Actually, it's being absolutely PRAISED by many hardcore gamers I've talked to.

A few notable remarks include:

-Incredibly polished product: stunning visuals, crisp textures, superb animation, creative art design and fantastic voice acting

-Gameplay variety: There's just so much to do in this game. Want to take a break from dungeon crawling? Roam the streets of a village and test your photography skills. Push your imagination to the limit with town building and inventing new weapons, as well as upgrading your robot-friend from a slow, clunky mess into something you'd be proud to take into battle. Don't forget the 'golf' and the fish catching, raising and RACING.

-A lengthy voyage: Hours upon hours of fun, inspired gamelpay all put together in a tremendous presentation. Proof that SCEA-published titles are among the best in the business.

I recommend checking it out....when I get some gree time, I know I will.

Hmm, I actually agree with the guy though. He didn't claim the game to be screwed up so much as the "invention process". I think it a bit odd as well... pictures of trashcans, pipes, and other everyday appliances inspiring high-tech equipment such as a jetpack.

Why, if that wasn't "Screwed up", then I think we'd be living a Jetsons' life... but before now!

I think I might want PS2 again for this game. I've been hearing nothing but praise about it. Most people say it has "Old School Nintendo Action". Damn, I want it!

I heard that exact quote actually....from a hardcore multiconsole gamer who buys about 100 games a year and reviewed Dark Cloud 2....

he gave the game a 9.85 out of 10, and says it ties Suikoden II as his favourite game of all time
