*hold B* *press power*
..........*nothing happens*
Has anyone heard about the trick where you can change your screen from 50 Hz to 60 Hz? (basically, progressive scan). It doesn't work for me. Is it only Europe or something? |

:GC: :Nintendo: :link2: |
On the PAL cubes (Europe and Aus.), you can boot the games up in 60 Hz mode by holding down B (your TV must be 60Hz compatible). Using an RGB cable truly takes advantge of this feature.
On the NTSC cubes (USA and Can.), you can boot up games in Progressive scan (not all games have this mode) by holding down B. You must also have a Progressive Scan enabled TV, and the component cable for this to work. Oh, and Progressive Scan is totally different from 60Hz... And it's much better. |
omg, i didn't know you needed to do that.. .you rock man!!
|
Whoa, I don't even use that featture and I knew about it, what does no one visit IGN, they leave no stone unturned.
|
You don't have a PAL cube buddy.
And on NTSC machines, you only need to do it for one game. After that, if you select yes, it should by default, ask you everytime you boot up. |
ive known that holding B at the beggining is sapose to do something.. but i dunno wut.. now i do
