Final Fantasy VI
 

I just bought Final Fantasy Anthology, and I was wondering if Final Fantasy VI was the Nintendo of America safe translation for the SNES, or if Square retranslated it without the edits?

I don't think there was anything edited by FF VI. I think it may have been retranslared though because Anthologies has all the CG stuff and I think they cut out a couple of the original version's in-game cut scenes.

FF IV IS retranslated however and the edited stuff, particularly the secret room near the end, has been brought back in Anthologies.

I'm almost 100% sure that FFVI on antholgies is the ****ty translated version. Locke instead of Lock, etc.
