Damn you Europeans! Damn you to- I mean, good for you and all. ;)
How many MB can you fit on those little discs anyway? Could you fit an entire movie on one? |
Mini CDs? I think they only hold 150 MB, but I could be wrong.

New hope for Piracy!!!

huh?
The discs should be able to hold more than that i mean jeez a game has a lot of mb in it doesnt it how many mb was the biggest game ever sure had to be alot. i mean watz up with that just because the disc is small doesnt mean the game is short. im tired of people bad mouthing gamecube they only do it because they have xbox or ps2 instead u ever notice its the people with an xbox badmouthing gamecube i played xbox and its not that great but i dont badmouth it. for people in here who like gamecube like me im sorry u had to hear this cuz i wasnt talking about you. wow i typed alot bye bye.
|
hmm
plastic = :lol:
I talk to much. |
Well im sure they are not that stupid. The GAME part would likely only read the Gamecube dvd type disc. So you could control anything you put on the CD's.
|
DVDs hold more. GameCube disc are more like DVDs than CDs. They're talking about video CDs. Which hold less. Probably couldn't fit an entire movie on one. Damn this thong underwear.

The discs are NOT 150mb. They are 1.5GB, just like the GOD's.
Matu****a, 3M, and Toshiba make the 1.5 GB CD-R's, originally for use with digital cameras, home studio equipment and the like. But now that the GCN's been hacked, the things are selling like hotcakes. You can find them on popular import sites like Lik-Sang.com, or any DVD-R merchandise site. The only thing separating the the CD-r 3 in. discs and the GOD's are the amount of encryption on a GOD is insane, plus the ability to double and triple-layer the GOD disc. This cannot currently be done with a standard 8cm CD-r burner, so pirated games would have to be downsampled to be fully playable. They're essentially the same disc, nonetheless; just different in how they are made and recorded onto. |
Yay 1.5 GB :D
*realizes he doesn't have a burner nor live in Europe* fudge monkey |
What??? What did Shadowfax say??? The GameCube is hacked??? Games can be copied to that 1.5 GB mini CDs??? :help:
I thought Nintendo was using those little discs so that they wouldn't be able to pirate it...... :( :help: |

But hackers are always one step ahead; there were ways to hack GCN thru Panasonic Q, thru a separate CD drive (that connected to the GCN serial port), and modding GCN's to read RW/DVDRW laser classes. It's sad, but true- even the PS3 will have games availble to download from the hack scene before it arrives. At any rate, this has been going on for awhile now, and will continue until the hacking groups in China are diluted. |

For some reason I doubt this |
