OMG, I just discovered this band a couple days ago and they are sweet! I stumbled upon some smashing pumkins while looking for guitar tab and liked it. I had never really payed much attention to them when they were popular. So I've been d/ling a bunch of their songs when I discovered they broke up:( I was sad but then I started looking at billy corgan stuff on the web and found out he started a new band, zwan. So i downloaded the cd and listened to it. But, for the first time, i felt bad for downloading it. They were a new band and I liked them and they need my support, not me downloading it for free. So i went out and bought the cd (it didn't come with the bonus cd:( ) and its freaking sweet. I encourage all of you to listen to some of their music to see if you like it, and if you do, buy the cd. Hmm...lemme see, I like lyric, honeslty, and a declaration of faith. Those are good songs to download and see if you like them.

Um...yeh, just thought I'd tell you about them :)

Yeah, I haven't heard anything by them yet :P

But DH loves them... so I donno :P

Yeah, I ran out and bought their CD the day it came out :p I found out about them a few months before the CD came out... Cuz I went to the SP webpage and there was a link to Zwan and I was like "What the fedge is this?" and I was like the first person I know to find out about them... I think... o.O

I couldn't find the CD with the bonus disc either though :(

Ride a Black Swan is another good song of their's, IMO :D And Jesus I/Mary Star of the Sea! w00t!

BTW, you don't even have to look around for MP3s of their's... they have the entire CD (fairly good quality, all songs in their entirety) on their website... www.zwan.com... you go there and a window should pop up, and you can either watch videos or listen to audio... and if you choose Audio it should have a track listing and all...

I wouldn't recommend it unless you have broadband though... And I dunno, it might have been some LIMITED TIME thing or something *shrugs*

I like their site...it has that retro look

Their music reminds me of Our Lady Peace...the lead singer sounds nearly indentical

Ya... This band formed a while back... And I have been listening to them for a while, too!

My friends are into them...their tour is coming to Normal, IL soon, and they were talking about going...its only about 20 miles from where I live...I doubt I'll go though...I have listened to some of their stuff...its alright...I dont think its anything that great though.

I don't think the singer sounds like the guy from Our Lady Peace... He sounds like the guy from Smashing Pumpkins... cuz... that's who he is... :sneaky: Well actually he sang a bit differently when he was in SP :-o But still...

Anyways the OLP guy sounds like he has a deeper voice and sings different or... something... :unsure:

I wish the tour Zwan's going on would come closer than Baltimore... but it won't :(
