That F'N Bum...
Well, I don't know how legit this is, but I for one think it's true, apparently after WrestleMani, the Rock plans to call his WWE career a quit. The F'n prick just used wrestling as a stepping stone to acting, if it wasn't for the WWE and Vince McMahon, The Rock would still be some poor football player trying to make ends meet in the CFL. ARGH, he is a f'n idiot.

Interesting. I knew Rock was going to eventually leave the WWE. He doesnt have the "skill/factor" that he used to have. He comes back for a month or 2 like he did before, gain the title, then just disappear again.

Well, on one hand you can't really blame him. I mean, wouldn't you rather have a job where you got to be with your family a lot more, do a lot less physical hard work, not have the risk of being injured as bad as you would in wrestling, and all?
Of course, I remember The Rock's speech when Austin walked off. "The Rock will be coming to the ring using the People's Walker bla bla bla because The Rock loves this. THIS IS HOME." Yeah, bull****. I hope Austin comes back and tells The Rock to 'Get the F' Out!" Oh yeah, and did you (anyone) see what Austin supposedly wrote for the Raw magazine? I have no clue if it's fake or not, I guess we'll find out soon, but he goes off on Triple H (all the things we already know about... backstage politics, not drawing, should lose 25 pounds), Hogan, the booking team, the stupidity of having Austin job to Brock on free TV at the start of Brock's big push, etc. I kinda doubt it, but if it's true, he sounds exactly like the usual smark. Austin rules. :D |
Lets see... spend the next 20 years throwing my body into steel ring posts and every night there is a chance something will go wrong and I'll die... or become the next Arnold Swarzenegger and make 4 times as much money to have someone else do my stunts for me...
I think I'll take option "B" :D You can't blame him. As for Austin and his supposed "job", when does a screwjob finish become a job? The point was to have Lesnar "upset" Austin on free TV through having someone else help him out and then have that lead up to a revenge match on PPV. Its called "booking an angle" and not "hotshotting" Screwjob finishes to elevate a youngster while not killing the heat on an established star have been done for years. Its nothing new and Austin should have NEVER had a problem with it. Thats the Bottom line... (you know its coming...) BECAUSE THE STRANGLER SAID DO!!! |
Well I was just passing on what I heard from someone else on what Austin apparently said if that was true, which again we will find out soon enough I guess. But either way, that was way too early to have Brock go over Austin in any form, there wasn't any build-up or anything to the match either.

I agree with Chris here, no matter what, I don't think it was right to hotshot their first match even if it lead to a later match. I mean it could have been like a passing of the guard or something, not some quick rating grabber, not to mention I think a feud would have lead to a more constant rating grabber than a quick feud. Make people wait for what they want, sort of like what they are doing with Austin's return now.
