It seems we've all been very gullible, and far too excitable. The "Megaton" rumours initially stemmed from a report in Japanese magazine V-Jump that hinted at a huge Nintendo announcement in the near future.

The latest issue of V-Jump apparently clears the whole thing up. Nintendo is set to make a GameCube game based on a comic strip from the magazine. Yes, that's it.

Don't ever say the Japanese don't have a good sense of humour.

That's it. A joke.

Heard about it. But at least it was fun while it lasted:D It got as far as CBS saying something on their website about the Capcom buyout. The power of the Internet is great!:D
