Rather Odd Problem

It seems like these kinds of problems only happen to me and my little Presario.

Anyway, so I was downloading some Green Bay Packer pictures off of Packers.com and Windows was unable to recognize the file it said this: "Windows cannot open this file." So I thought that was rather odd, but didn't give it much thought. Today I tried to download a document and I got the same problem. I haven't changed any settings or anything on my PC. Any suggestions?

Is it a shared computer? Does your family and you each have their own accounts that you sign onto when you first power up? If so, maybe your settings do not allow for downloading? Where's Cyrax when you need him?

Erm... no... it's computer.

I think I've figured out the problem though, for some reason my PC will not longer recognize any pictures downloaded from Packers.com Go figure.

could be a virus. I had a virus that messed up certain file types and switched them around...

what file type?

what browser did you use to download it?

i've had some that i've downloaded it named as something. TXT even a movie file it named it as.

when in reality it was supposed to be a .ZIP file. so i had to rename it to .ZIP and open it from there.
