This GCBGB mod posted movies from a site of a person who can play trough SMB levels like nobody before him. Really challenging ones in like, 10 seconds.

Man, you guys should've visited (been a part of) SMB Elite. Videos like that are old, and believe it or not, done by many, not just him.

Interesting. Well, at least some of those videos show good ways to cheat in videos. Like Master 3.

I went there during a portion of last summer. Never really got over my rust to get any decent scores. That, and it's insane getting this stuff. But fun indeed.

Here were my scores, could've done a lot better, but it's hard to compete, and I believe at the same time I was also doing the CT3 contest, so it only had a portion of my time.

Why is it that when I look at those videos, I want to punch some guy in the face, particularly the one who made them.

If those are the same ones I've seen before, then they're ****ing crazy. Did you (Gekko, or anyone else I guess) see the one of the guy finishing 'flat maze' by just bouncing off edges? I don't even see how that's possible.

I checked out that klow.net site a while ago and my Monkey Target 2 scores are pretty great compared to most of their records even.

Yes, I have. This stuff isn't a real shocker to me anymore, because I saw it all back for the original. But it still is damn tough, though some things I can do.

I need to get playing SMB2 more. I didn't give it much time, and it deserves so much more. I might as well get started, because I want to play MEX10 badly! Such a sweet level.

And am I the only one disapointed they allow you to buy additional lives? Kinda takes the challenge out of getting Master Mode. Not all of the challenge, but it goes from near impossible to pretty tough.

And I'm in the process of downloading a 177MB video of a guy who got 17080 play points in SMB2, the max you can get. It shows the whole damn run, I can't wait to see this.

I'm pretty good at Golden Eye though... but those times on www.the-elite.net are just impossible without cheats. :mad:
