Zelda Sells 407,700 In Japan, Cube passes One Million

1) The Legend of Zelda: Kaze no Takuto hit the top spot this week, selling 407,702 copies.
2) Konami's Winning Eleven Sells 336,500 copies.
3 and 4) Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby were back to back, with Sapphire (180,600) selling 400 more than Ruby (180, 200). Both games have sold over one million copies in all.
5) Bandais .hack sells 96,000 units.
6) A game from Sammy (Actual Combat Pachislot King of Beast S) for the PS2 sells 74,900.
7) Capcom's Clock Tower Three rakes in 50,000.
8) Mario Party 4 from Nintendo continues to sell with 48,500 copies sold this week.
9) Capcom's Mega Man Battle Network 3 sells 47,800 copies, selling over 120,000 so far.
10) Finally, Gallop Racer 6 Revolution from Tecmo sells 44,800 copies.

Yes, I am a cube fanboy, but congrats to xbox. Surprising sales for it.

And for reference the Zelda sales are either 2-3 days. It came out on the 13th, and these sales week stop at 15. I would assume its 3, but meh, you never know. Not that it really matters.

Thankfullly you added that was for 2-3 days only. I was kind of scared at first when I saw that it only sold 400,000 copies in one week. But next week's sales will be better. If you add these 2 days into it.

Half a million? In less than one week? That's pretty damn good for Nintendo.

That's wonderful news for Nintendo. I kinda figured Zelda:WW would sell this much. And its good to see that GCN passed a million.

PuPPeT, those numbers from MC are correct. They do, afterall (I think), track more retailers than Dengeki do.

Before anyone asks, those sales for zelda only account for 2 days (since you can;t buy games on Sunday). Every other game on the list had the chance to sell for 6 days (though I'm not sure about WE6:FE).

I'm extrememly excited for Zelda right now *sniff* hes all non-growed up!
