I had the same problem with mine. It was 2 mbits then all of a sudden it wasn't getting past 1 mbit on the speed tests. I just phoned my cable provider two days ago and found out that my sister had messed around with our kazaa upload settings and we had wasted 10 gigs of bandwidth. They had lowered the speed of our modem. That might be a reason cuz usually cable companies try to stay competitive by upgrading their lines so you get the speed that you're paying for.

Woohoo, i remember when i had dial up how i could barely load the page, lol. Now i have road runner!

Your raw speed was 2395437.41 bits per second which is the same as:

2.4 megabits per second

292.4 kilobytes per second

1MB file download=3.5 seconds

Compared to all connection types worldwide, yours is fantastic.

Road Runner ownz all!

manasecret 11-30-2002 12:09 PM

I doubt that is it...I only use Kazaa once in awhile, and even when I do, its not very often
