I just remembered something.....
 

As some of you may know, (I don't think that too many people really noticed) I was away for quite a long time. Anyway, I figured that when I got back we would be using the Karma system (That was the plan, right?), but, uh, it seems that we aren't. So what happened? Did someone decide that the idea was stupid and pointless or are we all secretly using Karma now? By the way, what was the difference between Karma and Doubloons, anyway?

I think it was because the Karma system isn't ready yet. It's still in beta form.

Im too up-to-date on the situation, but I think Neo is waiting for the next forum version update, soon to be released I supose.

what all does the karma program do? is it better? why do we need it?

Similar to the dbln system, though more emphasis on quality of post. It will replace the dbln system, and you will be able to use it like the dbln system.

The major difference is, its not a currency in which to pay. Its measured on levels. To get in the BP forum you have to pay. Well, you will likely just have to reach a level of karma to get in, without sacraficing any 'karma points'.

Sounds good.... And there is going to be a new version of GT? WTF.

I think he means the new version of VB Board or whatever...

And current BP members get in free :p
