Thanks for posting. These new legendary pokemon are fascinating. I'm definitely going to look into this.

I use to be crazy about Pokemon.

Who wasn't?

I think I'll buy. When it's released in Europe, probaly somewhere in 2004. :(

Well, it's pretty decent. Their last major game is Zelda.... in February. Then there's Golden Sun 2 some time then. And Pokemon fills in March. I don't know about 1080: White Storm though.... still, it's a sturdy schedule.

IMO, that's not that far away. Better than summer 2003 or any date beyond March. I think it would be nice for once to get a game the same time as people in Japan though. Oh well. :)

Joeiss 11-14-2002 08:20 PM

That will never happen, because of all the translation process and stuff.

GameMaster 11-14-2002 08:42 PM

Unless NOA and NOJ ever do a joint project or NOA develops a game on their own. That's unlikely too though.

BTW, three new Pokémon were released today. The screenshots are kinda fuzzy but you can see them in the link I posted at the top.

March 2003 is pretty good for a translation period. That's only four months for them to convert into a US game.

It's 1:30 in the morning right now. I've just downloaded the Japanese versions of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Haven't played much. Just got my starting Pokémon and made way into the first town. The overall graphics aren't anything jaw-dropping but the battle sequences have much improved and look good. Haven't battled with 2 on 2 yet. Hope to do that tommorrow. More impressions to come soon. I can record the game as I'm playing and save it as a movie file if anyone wants to see anything. Now, I really need to go to bed. One last day of school before Thanksgiving Break! :D

Joeiss 11-22-2002 05:51 PM

Man, you allready downloaded it? You can't wait until March? Yeesh.

DarkMaster 11-22-2002 06:05 PM

i downloaded it too, couldnt understand wut the hell i was suppose to do (for obvious reasons) so i just deleted it. i'll wait for the US version.

Yeah, it makes me seem like kind of a loser doesn't it? :D Either that or Pokémon fanatic. I'll let you decide. :D

You know what the funny thing is guys?

The preorders already reached over a million for each Pokemon game in the US.

Now that's scary. I guess this is Nintendo's weapon against Vice City. Wait... Metroid!

Angrist 11-23-2002 03:55 PM

Is that confirmed??? That is sooo awesome! And we all thought Pokémon was dead!
