Pronounce Shigeru's last name?(His last name is Miyamoto) My friend and I had an Argument on how you pronounce his name. is it:
1:My-uh-moto:The way I pronounce it.
Or 2:Me-uh-moto:The way my friend pronounces it.

MY-YA-MOE-TOE

Mi-Ya-Mo-To (four kana for his name)
Me-Yah-Moe-Toe

M-eye-yuh-moe-toe

If you're a normal Nintendo fan, you pronounce it like this:

"shig-gee"

If you're a Nintendo fanatic, you pronounce his name like this.

I take Japanese and I'm 100% certain its my way... :)

It's Me-Uh-Mo-To. But if you're Japanese, it sounds more like Me-Moto.
