i see sega 2k3 got higher then EA's 2003............but i dont play basketball games so i wouldnt really know. hehe

2k3 is better than Live 2003... just not better than NBA 2k2 :p

I'm most shocked with TS2's scores.

You expected worse, or better?

Judging by the demo, I'd have to say this game sucks major ass. Exactly what I expected out of it.

I agree with EGM's TS2 review. The multiplayer rules but the single player missions are crap. (Well maybe not crap, but certainly not up to snuff with the ones in GE and PD)

But I do think it's kinda anal that they gave the GameCube version a lower socre (7.0) just because it didn't have the i-Link feature in it. (The Xbox version got an 8.0 and the PS2 version averaged an 8.3) They also complained that the GC controls were akward, so maybe that's why too.

Right now... to this point, Timesplitters would be my pick for the game of the year. There are a lot of things coming out that could change my mind, but right now it's all about TS2.

I got the GCN version and I have no complaints.

Spike, I dunno what you have been smokin, but TS2 is better than PD and GE in every way. (most complaints come with the controlls, and they are easily fixed)

The ONLY thing GE has over it is the selection of guns. Perfect Dark has the gun selection and the multi player challenges over it. BUT 1) I don't know if I even have close to the full gun selection 2) Perfect Dark may have it beat because of the extra challenges feature, but Timesplitters 2 has so many more options than PD and so many more 1 player challenges than PD that it easilly stomps PD into the ground.

I expected higher scores.

Don't judge by the Demo gekko, give it a rent first. Unless you don't like FPSs to begin with.

I'm not going to argue about this... but I do think this is the best home console FPS you can buy next to Halo. (I would say TS2 is better than Halo, but I only played Halo for about an hour, and it left a BIG impression)

Oh, if you toy with the map maker a bit, you will find gold.

When did he say that PD and GE were better than TS2?

Also, in my opinion, I think PD and GE own TS2 in every way. Well, that's just my opinion and I am not saying TS2 is a bad game but it just lacks in single player mode. I mean, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark weren't very much fun until I started playing with my friends...

So I think I agree with EGM on this one. Also, once again Tony Hawk gets a near perfect.

I can understand thinking Goldeneye's single player is better... but Perfect Dark?

If you haven't played TS2 with friends, I see why you would think it's pretty weak. Just like if you were to play PD without friends, just running through the single player is pretty weak. Then again, the Arcade mode challenges are great if you ask me.

Play capture the case on the Training ground level with you and your friends vs computer. The Cameras and and the set up rocket launchers and machine guns are great. Even though the AI sucks ass.

I got THPS4 yesterday I'm more than half way done with it, and I have yet to see a challenge. I will take it back for the Ps2 version so I can get some real competition online I guess.

didnt actually read it. but thoes scores are really good compared to the xbox ones for Lord of the Rings........... i think the xbox version got something like 2, 2, 3 ? (dunno exact, dont have my magazine with me)
