Pokémon release date and stuff
2002-11-21 (Japan)
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Guess what types they are... :p (well actually I don't know, but I guess they're fire, grass and water again) (ehm actually I think we already knew that) For further details, see http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n08/axvp/index.html. For translation, look Mediocre very sweet into the eyes... ;) Nah, I don't think there's much interesting to tell. |
I am so picking that Water thing. I always own with Water types. I even have every pokemon card of the water type.... pretty sad eh? Ah well. Thanks for the info!
|
i dont wanna pick any of those homo pokemon! why cant they have another Squirtle, he owned!!!
|
I jsut want my Venusaur... Screw all hte new pokemon. I'll take my Venosaur, Blastoise, and Raichu trio against anything new ruby has to offer.
|
I'm taking Kimori, the grass type. Grass starters are the best!
Too see the complete list of new Advanced Pokémon released so far, click here. |
Grass starters are the best yes, but fire veterans are better!
In blue/red it was like, when you choose bulbasaur it's easy in the beginning but hard in the end, w/ charmander always hard or something... dunno |
In Red/Blue, it was really easy in the beginning with Bulbasaur because the first 2 Gyms had Rock/Ground and Water types, which were both easy for Grass Types.
Playing with Squirtle gave you an advantage at the first gym, but at Misty's gym Squirtle was useless (cuz water vs water)..although if you caught a Pikachu near Pewter city it wasn't all that hard. And Then at the 3rd Gym they had Electric Pokemon, so you had a disadvantage here, too. Charmander was the hardest at the beginning. Because the first 2 Gyms had an advantage over you, but after that playing with the Fire Starter was fine. *sniff* the memories....:( |
I chose bulba in the first one because I like "grass"
;) |
Oh yeah Crono, that's what I meant. :)
|
The fire starters are naturally strong to begin with and are recommended for first time players or rookies. The grass and water starters are for more advanced players.
|
In red and blue, Squirtle obviously has the advantage. First off, he had water against a fire type like Charmander. Second off, you can teach Squirtle (Wartortle, Blastoise) Ice Beam and Blizzard and all those nice ice techs that can beat the crap out of a plant pokemon :p
That was the only pokemon I got into. |
i think just about everyone had at least one taste of the pokemon craze
|
Yeah... and I think I will enjoy saphire/ruby. :)
|
Me too. :D
As well as whatever comes to Gamecube regarding Pokémon. |
GameCube will be even better. :D :D Can't wait!
