Metroid Prime/Metroid Fusion Link Up Info!
If you have completed Metroid Fusion, linking the two games will unlock the ability to play the original NES Metroid in Metroid Prime. Saving is done directly to your GameCube Memory Card.
If you have completed Metroid Prime, you can wear Samus' Fusion suit from Metroid Fusion in Metroid Prime. http://www.planetgamecube.com/news.c...n=item&id=3608 Pretty cool! Beat MP and then play the original Metroid and hopefully it melds the 2 games like a true prequel/sequel. I wish they would've included all the Metroid games, that would be great! But including the original is great. |
Yes, since I now have a Gamecube Link cable for my GBA, im looking foward to this cool feature.
|
Oh man this is great!! Now I don't have to play Metroid with my crappy NES controller on my broke NES!! :D
I wish you could play it on the AGB though... that would be awesome! :D |
This rules. I hope Nintendo does this with Zelda
|
That sounds awesome.
I'm glad i'm gonna be getting a GBA for Christmas. It's gonna be worth it for all those games plus connectivity with Gamecube. This will be a great way to connect all three games. Where does Metroid Fusion fit in anyway? |
Between Metroid II and III. :)
I'd like to get Metroid II one day, but I haven't found it yet! Perhaps it never made it to Holland... :( Didn't Japan have a color version of it?? |
I thought Fusion was after Super Metroid (Metroid III)...
Anyway, this is great! Battery save as well :D *shrugs and walks away* |
Oh yeah! I thought he said Prime!
Yeah, Fusion is after Super Metroid. :D |
Well.... Isn't Prime between Metroid and Metroid II?
*shrugs and walks away* |
I thought I heard it was between 2 and 3... but on the other hand, between 1 and 2 makes more sense. At the end of 2, only 1 Metroid was left...
|
Metroid Prime is between 1 and 2 . Nintendo confirmed this somewhere.
Edit: I've just realised that the Metroid sereies is the only Nintendo sereies with Contiinuity. All of these story are somehow linked to each other. |
I find it really hard to believe that nintendo couldn't find an extra 20 or so mb to stick Super Metriod and Metroid 2 on the disc. If they're not hidden on there, that's just bull****. I can see nintendo not wanting to have SM on there because it might cut into MF sales, but you have to buy MF to unlock it anyways.
just more of the usual nintendo BS |
Super Metroid and Metroid 2 could be released seperately as an AGB game. That way they make more money.
Like why don't they release 'Super Mario Allstars' instead of all the games seperately... :( |
I think Super Metroid is next on releases for GBA. Probably mid 2003.
Nintendo will try to milk old SNES games as much as the can. But,I wouldn't mind buying them cause half of them I have never beat yet anyway. |

They could have not included Metroid in there at all. They could have not put the Fusion suit in Prime at all. They didn't even have to have any connection between Orime and Fusion at all. Instead of complaining that Nintendo didn't pack as much as they could into the games, be glad that they gave us the extras. *shrugs and walks away* |
