Thank goodness...too many innocent people were killed as is. But more importantly, my band is playing a gig in D.C in a week, and I'm glad that getting shot isn't one of the things that we have to worry about.

I think he had already chosen to surrender though. If you've been following the news, he asked the FBI people to say something to the public like, "We've caught the duck in the noose," or something along those lines so who knows? Maybe he was done killing and ready to be captured? It's good he was caught though. The people who were killed were selected randomly and had no interaction with him ever so it's kinda of sad they were killed on the account of never having done anything to him.
