What is the deal with hentai?
 

This is sort of in response to those pictures that CubeDojo posted in that "Is there a doctor in the house?" thread. I was just wondering why hentai is so popular. Personally I think the idea of cartoon characters having sex with each other is disgusting (What's next, a Scooby Doo orge?). And it's not just that they're having sex, it's that they do the sickest, most sadistic things imaginable. That stuff is gross as hell. And what's even sadder is that the artists who work on this stuff are actually very talented (Accurately drawing the human anatomy can't be easy, mind you.). That talented just goes to waste.

I think people are iterested because in a cartoon, anything can happen. Some chick could have breats the size of her body...But then again, this may also look gross.

I think people who get off on that are idiots. :p

But it's funny, at least in my opinion.

if u want to see naked chicks, there are plenty of em you can see. Why look at hot (lol hot....i guess to the artists) japanese CAR-FRIGGIN-TOONS when there are so many beautiful chicks in the world, who are REAL, mind you, that u can look at?

Personally, I think it's a waste of time and money on behalf of the artists and company. Anime is already such a small audience but the content in those picture cuts the down the audience even more. Oh well... :-o

I think the content probably makes the audience about 3 million times larger ;)

Man, I'm still embarrassed about putting with in the title twice. Well, anyway, on to the point.....

Like someone said earlier, as sick as hentai is, most real porn is even worse. I mean there's porn out there with people having sex with ponies, men who used to be woman having sex with woman who used to men, people having sex with blow up dolls, etc. The world is a sick, sick place.....
