Is this a good deal?
 

A guy I know is willing to sell me Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger (I lost my copy), Mario RPG (I used to own that, also, but sold it a few years back), and Breath of Fire 1&2 for $100.00. Do you think it's worth the money? I'm not really sure about this. But I guess that that would probally be cooler than two new games for my GameCube or PS2.

I would say no. But that's only because I have those roms on my computer. Could probably find them a hell of a lot cheaper on ebay or the like.

I guess it's okay. I've never bought all the games before for $100 or whatever... If you want the games enough and oppose ROMs (go you!) then sure, buy them.

Yeah, I'm not really into ROMs. I'd just much rather play games on their system. So, I guess it actually is a really good deal. I'll take the guy up on his offer. By the way, Ginkasa, please stop shrugging and walking away. It annoys everyone.

Well, since you put it at the end of all of your posts, don't you think it would just make sense to have it in your signature?

I wouldn't call it a great deal...you're getting 5 games for 100 bucks, so 20 per game which isn't horrible by any means, but not the best. I'd say a good deal for those would run more like 40-55, but if you're in the position that this is the best you are going to find and that it's convenient, than do it.

Yeah, I guess looking at it that way, it really isn't a great deal. But that's about how much each game is worth. Actually, Chrono Trigger with the box and everything is worth about 30-40 bucks. So if I do this, I am getting an alright deal. And the guy said he might throw in Final Fantasy II. I already own it, but...whatever.

Because then it loses its meaning... I guess... :unsure:
