setting up PS2 network adapter

Okay, I tried setting up the network adapter, it didnt work, I called my ISP and they said we need a router first, because the Modem assigns itself to the PC only. They said it would cost an extra 10 dollars for another line, which means it would be 20 dollars extra a month for GCN's connection too. I need to know if the router can have other connections without my ISP knowing, cuz they are bastards and I cant afford the extra money. Thanks.

yes. a rounter assigns the differnt ips internaly, and they all send out as the same IP.

I suggest you go out and buy a LINKSYS ROUTER.

has a firewall built in and stuff. *shrug*

US Robotics have good router's too! And for 100 bucks, it is good.

Linksys has been known to be faulty with some ISPs...

I recommend a D-Link or US Robotics
