Yay something new in Japan!!!
 

Some company called New World Systems is porting Raiden Fighters to Xbox. What's Raiden Fighters? A 6-year old top-down Japanese arcade shooter.

I couldn't find screenshots of the one they're porting but KLOV has shots of the sequels: Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive and Raiden Fighters Jet.












The game should be out by the end of the year... in Japan. I'm not sure if they'll do what Sony did with Raiden Project back in 95 (a launch title that had Raiden and Raiden 2 and a 3-D intro) or if it is just a port of the original. The Raiden series was always VERY good, even the Jaguar Raiden was pretty good, so I'm up for it. NCS said they'll stock it once it comes out.

Hey! I played that game in a nearby college to where I live a few weeks ago. Really good game...

that would be a cool game o come but if it comes out end of year to japan we wont see it until next summer or longer for sure
