Demo disks
 

Does the US get demo disks with magazines? Cause over here in the UK, we are treated like crap, rare ads, no disks, no nothin'

yeah, we get a lot of demo disks from playstation undergroud. We also have magazines like Official Playstation Magazine that have demo disks in the mag.

No, we dont. but I heard NP is supposed to start giving them out like next year.... *goes to subscribe to NP*

but there are in-store demos, like the SMS and SFA demos for example.

although some of our stores *cough* futureshop *cough* can be idiots and sell their in-store demo of sms and sfa to some stupid guy before i even got to play it!! curse them!!

The time I heard NP and demo disc in the same sentence was when they polled subscribers about demo disc in their magazine. And even then they proposed a price for them.

Discs aren't free, I'd be wiling to pay $210.00 US Dolars more for a copy of NP with CN Demo Discs, but they haven't said anything about them since a pol a fewe motnhs back, I'm sure that the 50 polls involving "Backwards Compatibilty" and "Demo Discs" wil be put to use when deciding if the next Nintendo system gets the name "GCN 2" or someting else because of Backwards compatibility, and if enoguh people want Demo Discs, they'll find a way to put them into NP, Nintnedo learned their lesson with Square and the N64, I don't think that'l happe again,a nditf it does, the big "N" will not be in a god mood about their future, I'm sure yamauchi will go on one of his tyrades if Iwata screws anything up, so to answer your qeustion, no Demo Dsc's yet, hopefully soon though.

LOL really? Ok well my friend supposly got a starfox one for free sense he knows some guy at warhouse place who got him SMS and snk vs capcom2 earlier then stores can sell it or w/e. HE tells me that the guy sent him a starfox adventure for free but when he was walking out of the car he lost it. :rolleyes:

if bullcrap was money, your friend would be rich. that's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard...
