Can someone give info on what the game is about?

It's a top-down shooter (with option for side scroller in the console version). Dunno the story of the game but who needs one. Shoot a bunch of stuff and get powerups and whatnot. Fun fun fun!

Really got hooked on these types of games after Phalanx for GBA.

That reminds me, what ever happened to that one game that was supposed to come out for N64 where you were on a set track and you just shot things? Everyone was excited about it... Anyone know what I'm talking about?
