well, they better. It seems that everything is focused on 2002 right now. People keep talking about the big games for 2003. So far we know.

I'm sure there are more, but that's what's on my mind right now.

...But that's really not the point of this.

Nintendo must have a big game ready for the second half of 2003 (I don't think zelda will make it before second half, but even if it's pushed back till fall, it may not cut it on it's own.

Now we can assume a few games

Golden sun (for the cube)
Mario Kart
Perfect Dark Zero
A square RPG


I'm still holding out hope however for the big game of 2003. It's the one game that's slipped through the cracks so far. The one game that hasn't had its cube incarnation announced yet.

It's Big N's most underrated franchise (IMO) and it would absoultly rule on the cube.

Im sure they will. And zelda is targeted for february. I would hope they dont delay it more then 4 months.

Danchastu, I think that Wario for GCN is coming out November 11, 2002.... I think... So it is still a 2002 game.

Yeah a Pilotwings 3 would be damn sweet. But what I really want from Nintendo is an Earthbound (Mother) game on the GCN. Earthbound 64 looked so cool... :(

I think Zelda will almost definately get delayed to at least July, 2003, Minimum. And I dont thin PD0 will make it out in 2003. Im really hoping for mario-kart tho.

Hmm... with all the problems going on at Rare... but perhaps they have been working on it in secret for the last years... it could be the biggest surprise yet. :)

I will be shocked if zelda gets released before 3rd quarter. If that game gets released october-november it's going to sell millions in a few weeks. It might sell that many anyways but I think nintendo believes that releasing it closer to christmas will guarentee more sales. I don't even think a zelda game has ever been released before the 3rd quarter (not counting the hand held titles.)

And as far as Perfect dark zero goes we don't even know if that's the officical title or if the game will even be released for the cube but I put it down anyways.

I hope that game is Mario Kart. And that it has online capabilities. That would kick so much ass.

I agree. As much as I would like it to come in february like they said, a late november release would be better for sales. Though I dont think they want to keep the game just sitting there that long.
