Major problem!
After around 10-15 minutes of using my computer, either two things happen (just started recently!).
The first thing that started happening involved the mouse. At first it used to have a mind of it's own, moving the mouse resulted in jerky movement, and then moving the cursor over certain things would caused new windows to open, not to mention cause havoc on my desktop. Now the only problem that happens with my mouse is that it (the cursor) just freezes (not the whole computer though). To solve the problem everytime it happens, I have to shut down the computer, and plug the mouse in again. But to no avail... I have started to notice that the curor movement is a bit more jerky at times. The second problem has started to become more frequent than the mouse one. After a while on the computer, the keyboard just becomes totally unresponsive. NONE of the buttons do anything. To 'temporarily' solve the problem, I will have to shut down the computer. I don't know what to do, so can anyone tell me what the problem is, and the solution to sove the problem would be much appreciated :D |
scanned for any viruses?
|
LOL... Yeh, I did, there WAS one, it was one of my MS Word files that was infected, and there was no use of floppies, all done on computer like 5 months ago!
I deleted it, and scanned again, no more viruses, but the problem still persists! |
Hmm, sounds weird, I have a similar problem with my PC, if you turn off the monitor and turn it on again then the mouse stops working, also happens when you 'WAKE' the computer from 'SLEEP' mode.
But I dont have a clue why, or whats wrong with yours, mabey you should ask at a PC shop or something. |

Oh and Ric, go over to the TT forum and get yourself a custom name :D. |
Do you get any "Blue Screens"? Fatal OE Excetions usually mean a Memory problem caused by heat from inadequate cooling, if that's not the problem, try a differnt mouse and keyboard if you ahve any from old PC's, if that still doesn't work, your MoBo may be dmaged and I won't even give a price esitmate on a replacement MoBo.
