Can't Beat the Heat
 

Well, my dad is on his way to Oregon to fight the fires. The situation is so bad that they have called on the ARMY (Fort Riley) to help out. He says that they are going to have to hike for two days right into the middle of it and camp there while trying to contain the fires.
So, what I am wondering is does anyone else know someone who is volunteering, or works, as a firefighter?

My... All right, just a second here... Yeah, my sister's friend's Dad is a firefighter (I've never actually even talked to him though...).

Anndddd.... My Grandpa used to fight forest fires. But he's in his eighties now, so he, well, obviously doesn't do that anymore.

My uncle makes forest fires.

That is nice. He is a very helpful man.

Why? I was being serious.

Think about it: No forest fires are made, fire fighters have less to do, lay offs are made, less job openings, tax payer money goes to waste on pool tables for the fire house. Riots about taxes in the streets begin, the capitol in various states is torn down. They take to washington, fires start up everywhere, yet all the fire fighters are not working anymore!

This country needs my uncle to survive.
