What We Know About Sunshine?
 

Well, with all the new screenshots, commercials and all other media. I thought it was time to organize a what we know about Super Mario Sunshine so far thread:

-In place of the stars, Mario will now collect "Shines"

-There are atleast 94 Shines in the game (with the rumor being about 128 divided among 13 levels)

-The game will mainly take place on an island named Dolphin Park.

-The main nemesis seems to be an evil clone of Mario. It appears that he is made out of water.He weilds a paintbrush most of the time, but we have seen him with a sword.

-Mario has a all new water pack on his back. the pack seems to be multifunction as it can
*Shoot water*
*Act as a little rocket pack
*Act like a rocket that propels Mario straight
*Can be used as a sort of jet rocket that allows Mario to hover slightly over the ground or water.
*A weapon to fight enemies
*A fuel of sorts for some transportation

-Princess Peach, Yoshi and the Toads make re-appearances in the game.

-Peach's butler and thew islanders make their first appearance in the game

-Thus far, only a robotic type version of Bowser has been seen in the game.

-A scene is shown where the evil Mario steals the waterpack from Mario. Some screens released today show that Mario will have to go through parts of the game packless.

-Mario is out to clear his good name after being framed for painting up the town.

You actually gotta switch packs.

Actually, you don't have to switch packs. You have to change the nozzles on the pack for it to do different stuff. The nozzle basically just direct the water flow and what not.

Pfft... same thing.

Dollar Pick Island has become Dolphic Island.

Peach is hot.

Yoshi comes in many fun fruity flavors.

Water Mario is trying to get it on with Peach.

Mario as times had no pack. Because Water Mario stole it?

Control Pad isn't used at all.

Eating fugus (or killing bathroom mold) is considered murder.

Water Mario is the first job T-1000 has gotten since Terminator 2.

Mario Sunshine looks f*cking tight!

The 6 year wait is almost over...:)
