The Two Towers

I just now saw the trailor for it. I was too cheap to pay to get into Fellowship of the Ring to see it at the end of the credits. Anyways....I just now got around to downloading it, and I did, and I liked it. I thought it gave away too much though for ppl who have never read the books. Just thought I'd post the link for ppl who haven't seen it yet either.

Click the image to go to the page where you can download it for quicktime.

I saw the trailer during MIIB. I thought it was giving a smidge too much away too, for not having read the book. But I never knew they showed the trailer at the end of the credits!

They showed it at the end of the movie starting sometime around February or March methinks.

Thanx for telling ppl not to do the whole purpose of my thread:p No hard feelings though:)

I agree, I don't know why in the heck they would put that part in there, at least not in the teaser!

Jonbo298 07-08-2002 11:30 AM

*slight spoiler*

Does this spoiler start with the letter G?

*end spoiler*

Shaddup al right!

This would be such a cool surprise for all the people in the cinema. But now the teaser spoils it. Oh well... I guess it's hard to hide anyway and a lot of people already heard it from the ppl who read the book.

Blade Runner 07-08-2002 11:37 AM

No not really. It couldn't of hurt to leave that part out either. At least not that close up.

Oh, wait! There are two of those letters. I think the names that belong to those letters are both spoilers and shouldn't be in there. The major on I'm talking about and I think Angrist is talking about happens at the very end of the trailor.

EDIT: Btw, nobody commented on how cool my click the image to go to the site was. I didn't get lazy and just do simple text or copy and paste this url, I did an image! Meh;)

lol...nice link:rolleyes:

and i don't feel like watching the trailor...but what i do want to know, is when the movie os comming out...

Joeiss 07-08-2002 01:59 PM

I believe it is coming out in the fall. Though I do not the the exact date, however.

EDIT : That picture says it. It is kind of blury. I think it says December 15 or 18. But it will definately be realeased in December of this year.

Andromida_ 07-08-2002 02:21 PM

That movie looks cool. I saw the trailer when I saw MIB2. Sat through 20 min of trailers before we even saw the movie, that's crazy. Just makes you appreciate the button on your remote that says fastforward, or on a DVD you just get the movie.

GameKinG 07-08-2002 03:34 PM

I saw the trailer last week. This movie is going to be a lot longer then the first.

:WHOA:

are you serious?!?!?!

the first one was like 3 and a half hours!!!

the theatre better have an intermission or else everyone will have to go to the bathroom in the theatre!

Andromida_ 07-08-2002 05:08 PM

no kidding
I don't think I have ever seen a movie more than 3 hours in the theater... wait how long was Titanic?
Well anyway, intermission would be a good idea, if the movie is really that long.
BTW... I haven't seen the first movie, how was it?
