Ok so far...

It's 3/4th done installing on disk 2 :(

But it comes with a 200+ page, spiral-bound instruction manual. 3 CDs, 2 install, 1 play. Also comes with a fabric map. Kinda a cheesy map, but it's not a collector's edition, so I'm satisfied with anything.

I'm going to start as a gnome rogue. Whenever I can finally start that is.

Anyway, get to insert the final disk, it crashes. Setup has deleted all files, please run setup again. WTF? PIECE OF **** WINDOWS!!!! DIE!!!! DIE!!!! DIE!!!!

I think talking to Penguini while installing slowed it down big time. Took 40 minutes to get through disk 2, seems like it should only take 5.

"We strongly recommend closing all other programs before continuing with installation." I get it now.

Man, what a long install. Still taking 20 minutes up.

But disk 3 is working! w00t! Bloody Windows. :mad:

The voiceset file is what takes so much time.

1 hour later. Still installing. 94% complete, but 93% took 15 minutes.

These sound files are insanely large. And I just checked the system requirements, it's copying 2.0GB of data onto my HD. Then you gotta remember they likely use compressed files on the CD, so need to decompress it.

They really should've considered a collector's edition shipping on an external FireWire HD, seriously. 2.0GB of data from CDs always takes forever.

But look on the bright side, you can read the entire 200 page manual while it installs :)

Damnit! 98% now, 10 minutes until I hit the 2 hour mark. They say it might be a problem with my CD drive reading the contents off the CD. Err... I'm installing from my HD or 2nd CD drive. It'll be shorter than waiting for the last 2%.

Yeah... I wont be playin this game till like the end of summer if at all.. i gotta upgrade everything in my comp... hell the game dont eaven look like it would fit on my HD let alone meet the system reqs...

Well it's made by a Canadian development company you know. Not that that would 100 % guarantee the game is coming to Canada, but still. Yeah it's out here because I saw it in EB the other day and I'm from Canada.
