Netflix - 3DS

I bought a 3DS and noticed you can stream Netflix to it. Anyone try this? I thought about getting a subscription just for the novelty of it.

I tried it a year or so ago when I first got my 3DS and it did not work well at all.

I can try it again tonight when I get home and see if there have been improvements.

Oh all the devices.. you want to try the 3DS?

Hmm.. I only have the original so screen is probably even worse than XL

Tried it last night, I could not even get it to play a movie. Extremely slow and laggy, and nothing would even start.

I checked it out when I first got my 3DS. It worked fine for me, but I've never used it since.

Hmmm okay. I got the 3DS XL, in case that makes a difference. I'm not sure how I feel about the 3D games, but I wanted an XL so I thought I might as well get the 3D version. Right now I'm just using it for old DS games.

I have an XL as well, it's the only way to go IMO. Bigger screen is so much nicer.

I pretty much never use the 3D, it starts hurting my eyes really quickly. It's neat to turn it on occasionally and look around though.

So I tried it last night and it works perfectly; no lag at all. Though text is hard to read if it's too small, and the screen doesn't resolve dark colors well in low light conditions. I don't remember having that problem with PSP movies.

Yea I have tried the Netflix on my 3DS XL. It worked fine, my only problem with it is the screen isn't very high resolution so movies don't look all that great on it...

You get used to the 3D effect if you only use 50% or so. I sometimes turn it off when I'm at boring places. I would at least try the 3D every time you come to a new and beautiful area.

Netflix on the 3DS is okay. I like how it groups episodes of a TV show by season. Unlike with the Wii, which just has a long line of all the episodes that you have to scroll all the way to the side until you get what you want. The only issues with Netflix on the 3DS is the size screen and the sound.
