Green Lantern

Can anyone recommend me a good Green Lantern graphic novel?

I want to pick one up today while I'm out, to familiarize myself with the character before the movie.

I forget the name, but the one where Hal loses his shit and frags everyone is pretty good.

Green Lantern: Secret Origin is probably your best bet if you're wanting to get acquainted with the character. It even has a movie tie-in version with Ryan Reynolds on the cover.

Pretty much this, and then just follow along with Johns' trilogy, Rebirth/Sinestro Corps War/Blackest Night.

There's some stuff in-between that helps.

And believe the one Professor is talking about might be Zero Hour.

I bought Secret Origin, I'm enjoying it so far.

Thanks for the recommendations. The comic book store I went to actually had a handy paper near the Green Lantern comics with info the series and their order.
