Warhammer 40k: Space Marine
 

Its being made by Relic and it looks to be pitch perfect to the universe. I haven't heard anything about the next Dawn of War 2 expansion, so I suppose this will tide me over until the Imperial Guardsmen are added...

PS - This does not look like Gears of War. Gears of War looks like Warhammer 40k. Originally a table top game, its one of the franchises that has been most borrowed from in the last 25 years.

As you know, Blizzard makes fantastic games, but they haven't had an original concept in terms of their gaming universes since Diablo. GameS Workshop has provided it for them.

Well, Warcraft was supposed to be a Warhammer game, until the deal was off, right? That explains a lot.

Well, and WoW has diverged a fair bit from where it started ripping off Warhammer. But a duck is still a duck.

I've never played WoW, or Warhammer, tabletop or otherwise [although I've got some nerds who are totally into it], but that game actually looks pretty sweet.
