So me and some friends put together this fake trailer a ways back. But before posting it properly the director released a teaser thing to get people on the internet all freaked out about it.

...yeah....some people. At least my dream was crushed before it began.

Looks really cool, though if the goal was to make people believe it was real should have gone with something closer to the show. Actually wait-- was just reminded of Dragonball and every movie based off a video game ever. This is spot on!

The goal was never really to trick people.

We just wanted to make something people would laugh about.

But I think the "leak" makes it even funnier.

I might have fallen for it if it wasn't so dark (suicide?).
Then again, Nintendo would never allow this. And they'd never let it leak this easily. :)

Oh and I commented that I know a guy who's apparently working on this project but that he's not allowed to say much. Happy? ;)

It's so obviously fake, with scenes from Smash Bros etc... Amazing that people still fall for it. :)
