Transformers: War for Cybertron
 

So.. Canadians, this is $40 everywhere (except EB and HMV, those numbskulls, they have it for $64.) Go buy it now before it's out of stock.

From all accounts and all the reviews I've read today, this looks like the Arkham Asylum of 2010 - straight out of left field awesome.

Who doesn't like Gears of War with transforming?

I'm going to eat dinner, play, and then report back here with my findings.

I'm loving it so far.

Ammo complaints are dumb - there's ammo everywhere, and unless you hold down the trigger button, you're not going to run out that often. Plus you can TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT and just own everything anyways. :D

I guess I would describe it as Surreal. Nothing quite like it. My closest explanation would be Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. Feels like Halo, with robots. That transform. And guns that your arm transforms into. :cool:

PC controls I find a little bit hokey mostly due to the turning speed, but otherwise I am enjoying myself. Definitely optimized for consoles though, not PCs. I can see the complaint about ammo mostly because the vibrant backgrounds make it hard for anything to really stick out, such as an ammo box.

I haven't played any multiplayer yet, but I heard it's really fun. Limit of 5v5 though, right?

My friend was telling me about it yesterday.
Since it's only 40 bucks I might go get it today or tomorrow if I can find it.

I haven't played it yet, but I have seen the credits. One of the best sequences to (badass) music I've ever seen.

Man, this is a great game, and I haven't even touched multiplayer yet. Just finished single player tonight and loved it. Very much worth it on medium difficulty.

I got this game for free when I was at Comic Con last week, and heard it was good.

But this is probably the most surprising title of the year for me so far. The game is awesome. It's like Gears of War with Transformers. I finished the Decepticons story and like half way through the Autobots, the game manages to always mix it up even if you are just running and gunning, there's always some new twist. Currently on the back of some giant slugs.. don't ask.

Have for 360 if anyone is interested in some co-op
