10,000 Points
 

Just wanted to celebrate my finally breaking 10k gamer points, and I somehow managed to land it exactly.

Happened a few days ago on the first Gears of War, of all games.

Not to steal your thunder but just today realized that i hit 20,005 points.

tho Combine has the most out of all of us i think.

Nicely done.

At my studio, you think there would be a ton of 50k+ gamerscores, but it's the opposite. I think I have 11k and that's above average. My friend, and audio designer, hit 60k a month ago and he's trying to catch up to the Tron Game Director who's like 70k.

Aside from that, there's two or three 20ks, but nobody's caught up to those two above 50k. It's ridiculous.

PS3 trophies is another story.

No, actually. Darren the director used to direct FIFA but he doesn't have many sports games in his playlog because he's probably sick of them. About half of the studio is also from EA so they're in the same boat.

They play great games, they just don't finish them. RDR is the latest example. Most people bought it and gave up around Mexico. (Like I did, hahaha.)

Games for Windows Live? No?

Some of my achievement points are for PC games. Fallout 3 for example.

Warhammer 40k has Windows Live support.

Plenty of steam games have achievements. WoW has built in ones.

I've been stuck at 16k for a good six months now. The last time I turned my 360 on for purposes other than Borderlands was for the Reach beta. Will probably grab Alan Wake at some point, but other than that I probably won't buy a 360 game til Reach.
