OnLive Release Date
Don't know how many of you people remember this, was announced about a year ago (believe at GDC) as a streaming game client for PCs/Macs.
Quote:
Anyhow, the system has been announced to launch on June 17th of the year with a cost of 15 bucks per month http://gdc.gamespot.com/story/625329...nching-june-17 |
Re: OnLive Release Date
I heard that OnLive's graphics suck, considerable lag and wouldn't you much rather have the game forever in physical medium? Even downloads are better. Once OnLive shuts the game off, you can't play your games anymore.

Re: OnLive Release Date
I think it just depends on the person if this is valuable or not. Someone who does not have a "1337" computer and can't afford to buy one and is thus not able to play most PC games would probably find this appealing at least somewhat.
It reminds of the Sega Channel in a way. That thing was awesome. |
Re: OnLive Release Date
I do find this rather appealing. I don't own a current gen console and my PC can barely handle playing most games on the lowest settings.
Oh, it's $15 a month for the service and have to buy/rent on top of that? Er, nm. Would have been great if it was just the monthly fee. |
